He completed his Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Reconstruction at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Rozencwaig is joined by Michael Painter, PA-C, who also serves as Chief of Biologics at Ortho Stem Center.

Richard Rozencwaig, MD, FACS, FAAOS
Richard Rozencwaig, MD, FACS, FAAOS earned his Biomedical Engineering and Doctor of Medicine with Research Distinction from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Reconstruction at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Rozencwaig is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He has more than two decades of experience in his field and has published work in multiple medical textbooks and dozens of medical journals.
Dr. Rozencwaig is also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Surgery at Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, Florida Orthopaedic Society, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. He received awards from the American Medical Association, the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, The American Legion, and the Jostens Leadership Foundation. His professional interests are biologics, arthritis, and arthroscopic surgery. He specializes in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, as well as sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.
Michael Painter, PA-C
Michael Painter, PA-C, is the leading orthopedic physician assistant and chief of biologics at Ortho Stem Center. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, as well as advanced shoulder and elbow techniques.
Michael began studying biology at the University of Georgia. He earned his Master of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University. He earned his Physician Assistant qualification at Nova Southeastern University. He has focused in orthopedic sciences over the last 10 years in South Florida. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and currently serves as a clinical affiliate in the Health Professions Division of the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
He is the recipient of The Leading Physicians of the World (LPW) and The International Association of Healthcare Professionals’ “Top Orthopaedic Physician Assistant in Florida” award. His professional interests are sports medicine, reconstructive techniques, and biologics.
